Beginners: Keyboard (Fingering, Middle C, Do Re Mi)

Assalamualaikum dan hi.

Hari ini saya ingin memenuhi syarat permintaan salah seorang guru dari Johor untuk berkongsikan ilmu berkenaan alat muzik Keyboard.

Saya telah menggunakan alat muzik Keyboard yang telah dibekalkan oleh YAMAHA sempena program Music Time yang telah dilaksanakan di sekolah saya.

Apa yang perlu kita tahu berkenaan alat muzik Keyboard?

1. Menggunakan elektrik.

2. Ringan & mudah dibawa ke mana-mana.

3. Mahal. 😂

4. Kedudukan OFF button.

5. Butang VOLUME.

6. Kedudukan middle C.

7. Bagaimana mahu mencari middle C.

8. Kedudukan penjarian.

9. Penggunaan solfa.

10. Tulisan notasi pada baluk.

YAMAHA Music Time Book One: Refreshment of Introduction

Assalamualaikum and a very good evening. Today I would like to share a video on how I teach the keyboard using the Music Time Book One.

These students of mine are in their 3rd year Music Time programme. This is their first class in the year 2019. I have 1 new student which is only in Year 2. So I decided to make a short refreshment on fingering, notes & solfege before I carry on with playing the songs.

Steps:

1. Introducing the right hand & left hand.

2. Introducing the number of fingering.

3. Introducing the middle C on the keyboard.

4. Introducing the technic of putting the fingers on the keyboard.

5. Playing the notes from C to G (Do to So)

I hope I helped a little bit on how to teach the keyboard for beginners.

Yamaha Music Time

YAMAHA MUSIC TIME (KEYBOARD) is a programme for the primary schools in Malaysia.

All you have to do is teach your students how to play the keyboard by following the module given by YAMAHA. There will be 3 books which is Book One, Book Two & Book Three.

YAMAHA is currently looking for schools around KUALA LUMPUR & SELANGOR!

Make sure:
1. Enrolment of students are more than 600 pupils.
2. Headmaster allows the school to be a part of this programme.
3. A teacher who is willing to teach. (Courses for teachers will be given)
4. A music room or any room which is safe to store 11 YAMAHA keyboards.

Provided by YAMAHA:
1. 1 teachers keyboard (PSR model)
2. 10 students keyboard

Students got to buy their Book 1,2,3. A book is RM10.00.

Make sure to prepare extension wires too.

There will be competition every end of the year. From state level to nationals. Competition will be divided into 2 categories. Level 1 (Tahap 1) & Level 2 (Tahap 2).
